Dwarfed Mammoths are just one example of an animal species that have been geographically isolated on islands.  This animation explores why isolated animals tend to “shrink” over time. 

Made for the Field Museum’s Mammoths and Mastodons exhibit, this work is currently showing in Chicago and will be traveling around the world for the next five years.
